Hey everybody! I need some help here. Well i'm gonna start doing the piping on my intercooler and i need some help as to where to route it through. This is for a 200sx, I would really rather NOT have it pass under the radiator support. The reason I say this is because the roads over here are not in the best conditions. I was thinking of maybe removing the fog lights but I don't know yet. Any help would be appreciated, especially if pics are included. TIA

Run both pipes toward your driver side headlight. There is a hole next to your battery. Make the hole a tad bigger and run them from there. You might have to relocate the battery. You can call me if you want at 757.328.3887

Thanks, I really appreciate this. Do you have any pics of a setup like this? I should be doing this, this coming weekend and I will definately be giving you a call when I start this (bad weather over here lately). Take care.

Well, you can run both the inlet and outlet pipes to the IC thru the driver's side fender and up thru that hole where guys mount CAIs. I had to relocate the battery and get rid of the stock fog lights to do this.

Wouldn't this cause some kind of power problems or any other problems? I really appreciate the inputs fellas, keep them coming :).

Yeah, you're right...you have to pressurize all the pipes before the intake manifold gets pressurized, so you won't be as responsive with a lot of piping. You'll get a slight pressure loss with extra piping, but it'll be negigible if you make sure the piping is smooth on the inside and you minimize sudden expansions and contractions.
If you really want to keep response nice and fast, route the turbo outlet pipe through the passenger side hole to the IC, back up into the engine bay like a CAI and into the TB. You'll lose the wiper fluid reservoir, but that's why they made gas stations with squeegies. ;)
It's how I have mine set up (so do Greg and Terrin) and response is instant, just a tad more than a NA car.

I was looking at Gregs pics and I think this is probably the way to go for me. I think I can make the wiper fluid reservoir fit, but we'll see ;). Thanks for the input. Keep them coming folks.

I was thinking about getting a smaller fluid reseviour, like a catch can from Summit (http://www.summitracing.com/). Parts stores have stuff like that, too. Maybe a res from a Geo Metro or something. :D
