i just checked my distro cap and rotor, but the weird thing is that the terminal for the #3 cylinder plug wire is burned looking while the others look normal...any ideas what might of caused this ???

What does the #3 plug look like? If you want to get really technical-check the resistance readings of the wires and compare 1, 2, and 4 to 3. Just a thought.

the #3 plug has a bit darker burned color on the insulator side of the plug (outside the cylinder head)...good idea about the resistance of the wires i'll check it out...
