The base idle has to be below 900 rpm before the ecu will go into timing mode. With the TPS off its sometimes at 1,100 and then sometimes at 800. I'll give it another go later today when I catch it at 800 rpms. read my lets try.. Is that an OK? When is a good time for you? 93BlackBird 05-01-2002, 04:11 PM disconnect the acc valve (brass cyclinder next to the air intake plenum) that will prevent it from going to 1,100 to 800.
