I'll be replacing the passenger side axle on my red NX in a few days. Is this process similar to the driver's side? I've read that some of you can do the driver's side in about 15minutes to a half hour. That side has that blasted circlip too!
Do i have to drain the trans fluid for the passenger side? If someone can run thru the cliff notes version of the replacement real quick, it would be much appreciated! :)

You dont have to drain the fluid. The fluid will drainout when you pull the axle. The amount of fluid that will come out will be about a 1.5-2 quarts just put a pan under it and refill later. it shouldnt take more than 30 minutes.

Aww man! I was hoping I wouldn't have to play with tranny fluid.
What if I jack the right side of the car up to keep fluid from pouring out, would that work?
