Hey guys,

Just wanted to post to share the wealth. I recently discovered a store called The Tool Shed. There are two locations, 578 W Boylston St Worcester, MA and there is also one in Watertown or Waltham.

The site for the Worcester one is http://www.used-tools.com/

I went there about a few weeks ago and the place is awesome. I guess the owner buys used tools from retired mechanics to anyone who wants to get rid of some tools. Everything is second hand, however, everything is either Craftsman, Snap-On or Mac so it is all under warranty. He has everything you could think of and more of stuff you couldnt think of. He has TONS and TONS of sockets and wrenches and misc crap. Craftsman reversable wratching wrenchs for $6. Huge 20-30mm sockets for $2-5. I got a Mac Tools 7/8th closed end wrench for $5, looked brand new. I am sure some people around here have been there but if you havent you should really check it out.

Edit: another thing that is really really useful to use NE sentra folks, they have easy outs for $.50 a piece.

Just thought I'd pass it along

Thanks for posting this I went last Thursday and bought a bunch of random sockets for cheap. I also was able to use the coupon on the website for new customers which saves you 5 bucks off the first purchase.

Yeah it is a great place if you ever need to buy some cheap sockets or stuff to make your "own" tools with. Glad I could help. I need to go again, i could spend an entire day looking around in that store.
