tmak26b 05-01-2002, 03:03 PM Hey guys, I've been getting code 33 (3 long flashes, 3 short ones) and code 34 (3 long flashes and 4 short ones). When I reset it, it comes back 50-100 miles later. From what it seems, 33 is an o2 sensor problem. 34 is knock sensor, now how do i fix that? martin_g34 05-01-2002, 03:53 PM First replace the O2 sensor. Have you been experiencing any knocking? Leave it at that until you get all of the bugs worked out. After you're sure you've done all of the maintanance, then you can go back and advance your timing. Or the 02 could be causing the car to run lean amd spark knock. tmak26b 05-01-2002, 10:41 PM the ticking comes from the valves. I got a set of bad head because previous owner didnt change oil.... I put in fresh oil, 500 miles later. it's completely black | ||
