Hi, I have a 95 G20 that hestitate under moderate acceleration. Under WOT, the car would go through the power band fine, but when I am crusiing slowly up the powerband. The car would surge between 2K-3800 RPM. After that the car is back to normal again. I have replaced the plugs, wires and the fuel filter. What else can i do to fix that?

Check for vacuum leaks, bad air sensors. I am just guessing here.

Have you checked cap and rotor? I had to replace my cap and rotor
at around 50K and before i did it it would surge bad on part throttle
it would go then bog hard then go then bog etc etc..

Take off the cap and see if theres any build up on the electrodes
clean them up and then take her for a spin again.. That may do th trick.

That sounds like your EGR valve. COmmon problem on 91-93 high port motors for some reason. It is opening too much.
