does anyone have or know if the GC coilovers will fit on the KYB GR2 struts?

If I were you I wouldn't even think about getting the GC without the AGX's. Wait and save up some cash

Well, since you already have the GR2s the answer is YES, GC will fit on them.

If you plan on Keeping the GR2s and the GC setup, you SHOULD order the GC with LOWER spring rates than the standard 300/200 or whatever they will tell you.
Probably something in the 200/180 range may be OK for the GR2s. Still you have to make some calculations for the spring height.

ok, i dont know jack squat about spring rates blah blah blah, all i know is that im NOT going to autox or anything, mainly dragging, and need a fairly decent ride without "bouncing" around.
so you suggest lower spring rates, i'll talk to GC.

why don't you get some lowering springs. Coilovers are necessary for corner weighting your car. Since your only interested in going in a straight line lowering springs should be sufficient.

SCMSER is right, the only reason you would want coilovers is for cornerweighting and precise ride height adjustments that are only useful in hard-core racing. The downside of coilovers are that the threads will get full of dirt and corrosion and after a while will be difficult or impossible to adjust. Also I have heard of the perch coming loose and the suspension 'adjusting' itself. As well, every time you adjust the height, you need to have an alignment done. The cost is also much higher. For a street-only car coilovers make little sense. If you really want to lower your street car, get street springs like pro-kits, although the ride won't be that good with any street spring. If you do not want to deal with all of these compromises, the bust suspension setup is sway bars and AGX's with stock springs.
