if so, *** r the advantages/disadvantages of having one?

dont we already have 1 stock?? that ugly black box right infront of our valvecover. I guess you could UPGRADE...but u already got one..dont see if it would help any.

actually we dont have one from the intake to the VC , there is not one needed but it looks pretty and your intake tract wont get as oil that often ,.

I have not had my car running since I removed my catch can and ran a straight tube in place of it.Will I have any problems when I get my car running agian?

are you talking about your car only??

cause all stock sr20's came with one, well it nodirectly but its connected by a T.

the stock one is for the block to the valve cover not to the intake although it is tee'd to the intake ...

im just running a straight hose from the vc to the block .... and from the vc to the intake a regular hose which i might put a catch can in between ...

xxtokesxx did a write up on oil catch cans that was really informative.
