Well as the title asks, I'm just wondering what other b13 owners are putting in their Sentras. Its about that time and last time I changed plugs, I didn't change the wires. I'll be doing it all this weekend.

When I'm doing the plugs, are they pre-gapped or do I need a gapping tool and do it myself?

NGK. Buy a gap tool and double check, that's what I tell people to do at work.

Factory Nissan wires. NGK wires work, but OE wires work the best for the most part.

I went and got Nissan wires & Nissan plugs too. I think they ones they give for the SR20s are NGK Platinums & are good for like 50K, so they are worth the $11 each.

I would have to disagree on the platinum plug. An original NGK-R factory plug costs 1.89 at Napa auto parts. I had a rough idle with platinum tipped and a weak powerband. As for wires, i dished out a couple bucks and got the Magnecor 8.5mm competition wires. It runs great.

This has been done A LOT - if you search you'll get pages upon pages of discussion, including by those who have some expertise, on these two topics (plugs and wires). The balance of opinion, from the experts, is stock Nissan wires (or the equivalent) and NGK.
