This is the prototype of the Stage 3 intake manifold for highports. The differences between Stage II and III should be obvious. This one has a 25% larger plenum and a different radius for the velocity stacks.

Here is the front to back view of the manifold.

Here is a side view of the manifold. It barely clears the firewall. It has about a 1/2" of clearance.

This will be the end all, be all of the
O2 INDUCTION manifolds!

<edit> ok, that's better

NO way will you be able to fit a stage 3 into the low port, i having a hard enough time with the stage two:D

My young Padawan learner, that's why you have the first prototype. You are the guinea pig to allow us to figure out what needs to be modified. Now shut up and start wrenching, BEEYATCH!
I'll fix the first pic for showing.

ok ok enough with the manifolds!! we know they are the best!!!

anyone who decides to go another route is on crack....

u must know focus on traction bars/control arms -grasshoppa!!

Nice!

I may have to inquire about this intake manifold for my own personal vehicle. Venom has been taking their sweet ass time producing a prototype manifold for my car!

Email me @ louisanaya@hotmail.com and let me know what you can do!

Thanks!

If I were King, I'd declare a shootout. A BB DET with your manifolds and a GTi-R/T28. Yes, all three (four counting the BB intake manifold). Drop some S3s, tweak the cam phasing, a 3" exhaust, and see what a Classic can roll. The dyno will tell the tale...

I recently came across some money so I might be interested in the Stage 2. How much for it? Also how much for the Stage 3 (if I could afford it)?

Looks pretty damn big by the way.

I, too would like one. How much and where can I get one?

All I need to begin is your core manifold. The price is $800 for the Stage II unit. Once I have your core manifold in my hands, figure about a one week turn around. Remember, this unit is non-emission compliant and is for racing use only;).
Thanks

Did I spy something about low-port? I thought you didn't have one of those yet, Rob? I'd be interested in a low-port mani in the future if you've developed one at this point.

Also, would you be willing to create one that retains emissions hardware? I live in a state where they frown on removing that stuff.

What are they made out of? Aluminum. How big are the runners, inside dia. How do the flow ratings compare to the stock high port manifold?

Rob, I believe you and I must have 'that talk' again, later this summer. :D

Hey Greg, we can "talk" anytime you're ready. Remember, I still have your extra NOS tap;)!

As far as the lowport is concerned here is a sneek peek.

As you see, a 45 degree inlet will have to be fabricated for better fitment. It can be angled more upward to allow a better angle for the IC piping. This unit is raw, untested and will serve as the prototype for all of you lowport lovers.

The units themselves are made completely out of aluminum. I won't specify what the ID is though. Sorry. I will tell you that when I bolted the original prototype on my car two years ago, the turbo spooled 300 rpm sooner. The second Stage II unit dropped another 100 rpm of lag off. Stage III is yet to be determined.

As far as a shoot out between other manifolds, I would welcome the challenge, winner take all!
Remember, Mike Kojima will be testing the Stage II in a upcoming DynoCell in Turbo magazine!!
