I ended up locking up my brakes last night while avoiding an old lady that was pulling out in front of me; and now I have some serious handling/shaking problems. The tires smoked like crazy, and there are lumps of the rubber in a portion of the tires, where you can see it slid and got hot. My question is this:
Can I drive the with those tires, while under the assumption that the lumps of rubber will wear away and I will have a semi-normal tire again.
Or should I just chalk it up as a loss and get new tires... (Which would stink, because I just put new ones on my car... :( )
Thanks everyone.
