yes that worked for me tranny mont and mount braket worked for me. im pretty shure i can do this swap in a b15 i think i would not need near as many parts and install would prolly be cleaner

Yo, you say that you have to use the B15 Spec-V spindles, but the B15 SE (2000 and 2001 respectivly) doesn't need diffrent spindles, right? Why can't you use the B15 SE spindles on a B13/B14?

the b15 se spindles have different splined insides than the spec spindles thats why.

well im learning 6spd and de=t is starting to get crazy. thats with the project car. cuase we are not scared to break anything. the o2 ger box with a ve even though i have driven stock de on this box and de+t on this box but no ve. i know in my hard the ve would be relly fun fun fun

Ok, so ive read the thread from start to finish, and one Q that i didnt find was about the speedo hookup on the 6 speed 51 box. Im picking it will be electric speedo drive, with a electrical plug on the sender, so is this compatible with electric speedo on the p11 b14 b15 etc that peeps are planning on the conversion for, and more important from my point of view, what to do about mechanical speedo drive on older cars like the b13.

Hoping to have a p12 20v 6 speed to look at in my garage in a few weeks, so will begin to work thru these issues one by one. Just hoping its a Hlsd, not open diff. Do you think there would be much chance of finding a hlsd diff head in the USA without a entire box?

you can order the LSD right from nissan,

as far as the speedo, i was able to use my cable speedo sensor, the gears are offset from the 6 spd sensor but you can get it to work.

Neat on the speedo, so the sender on the box is a similar enough design to be able to mod it to fit.

I'll wait and see till i next see the box and see if its lsd or not, then ask at nissan see if they can get one for me.

speedo i just wireit in with the deferent conector and used the specv speedo.

I actually bought the 04 max tranny and it was oppen diff but im getting a free 05 spec tranny cuase some kid put a shift nob on the car and they was no lock out so he hit revers and cuaght it quick. With the lock out failure on paper work nissasn will not call back this trans and i think one more week it is mine this means I have spare gears and i have a compleat hlsd. I have found that nissian does not remain any manual trannys in new cars. so i you know of a dealer that has replaced one they coud sell it to ya.
i can get 350z trannys with 3rd gear sycro problems all day fix and sell

I know for a fact parts are needed for the p11. i also know that the install will be simulare to a p10 but you have some of the parts needed already installed nd fitted properly saveing work. but know way around the work till some one has done theese in a vast # are has the avialability to to all cars and is able to engineer the problem parts. than everthing will be 100% for every installer. anyone who hs done this swap so far knows that lots of work and mesureing is involed. if i had time like that and mad money i would develope bolt in kits for ny possible issues on any car. But im a poor sole and many parts i have acumulated were free to me exept trans and fly wheel. so far all other parts were free to mebut i still need more for my car. the other car since it has been running very strong and we are tuneing it all the time i have not had time to use it as a p10 swap kit car yet. it has hd not one problem with what we done but i wish to make things better befor my trans is in my p10 and hopfully come up with a better list.
if i had a b13 -b14 or p11 and was sponcered to make this happen i would come up with the compleat intall kits cuase i can make time but i can't dish money
