I would like to know which turbo will bolt right up to my bluebird manifold. I get a lot of conflicting information some say t28 from GTi-r will bolt right up some say not> dont wont nothing to crazy no gt2835r or nothing right now. I am trying to keep the gear box in one piece for the time being. SO my question is basically will a t28 from a Gti-r motor bolt right on to the manifold on my bluebird. Or should i send out the t25 i got now and have that guy @ MJMturbo rebuild it to t28 internals with the t25 housings??? any sugestions would be greatly aprreciated. thanks sr20 fans!:D

Just get the GTi-R manifold and matching T28. Upgrading a T25 isn't a good idea. According to Cadle, you wind up with worse response and only a very narrow band of gains at the very end of the powerband. Some "upgrade." Besides, once you have the GTi-R manifold, the world almost becomes your oyster. ;)

i just had jamie at mjm turbo rebuild my t25 and he use a gt t28 center and a t3 compresior wheel and it will bolt up to your bb manifold very nice work and fast turn around so it is a gt-t28/t3 and it will be a lot better than stock for 595$ i look for a gti-r t28 and manifold but it is like 200 for manifold and the turbo is like 500 or better and it is not new

well i send him my exhaust side and compressor side that is it. so he put a brand new gt-t28 center section (not a t3) but better then a t28 and put a t3 compressor wheel on instead of a gt-t28 one so basicly it is a brand new ballbearing turbo and it cost 595$ so it is like a sylvia upgrade turbo does this help????? well genrally it is not a good idea to upgrade a t25 *** most people don't do it right like this they use your old t25 stuff like center and exhaust turbine ect. well good luck

I think I have a clearer picture now. I really like the idea of a BB cartridge, but I'd still be very worried about reversion at high boost and high RPMs.

More than likely on a T25 will bolt up to your manifold, a T28 will not clear the block.
