does anybody know if the head bolts of gti-r
can be reused ?? or is it better to
take new ones ?

i ask about this,because in maintance
book they write that sr20de head bolts can
be reused...but the tuner who had rebuild
my friends car advices to buy new ones,
he says that only standard gti bolts can be reused,
but gti-r must be replaced....

I would play it safe and buy new ones. After they have been torqued to specs, they can stretch. I would only reuse ARP bolts, not the stock ones.

I agree why skimp on head bolts. Do your self a favor and pick up new ones.

Measure them and see if they are still in spec per the FSM. Since they are designed to stretch I would say that you can only tighten them once or twice.
