No. That's one of the things that make the classics great. You are only limited by a rev limiter.

I'm pretty sure that the sentra se-r can reach 125mph stock.

in my '96 se-r (completely bone stock, down to the wheels at the time) I reached ~135mph several times (ran out of gear). Nobody really had an explanation as to why I was able to reach that speed (I know I was going that fast, because I was being paced/passed by a mustang gt).
Not sure if that helps at all...but yeah..there ya go

Well . . . true, the top speed of the Classic will be limited by drag and not the rev limiter which is the only mech/elec limiter on the car. If drag was not a factor, I could imaging the classic being able to go beyond actual 150mph due to the gearing ratio of the 5th gear.

If your car is truely stock with the OEM ECU, you are limited to 109. The speedo has many times been proven to be inacurate. If you did run out of gear as you said, you would have been doing in excess of 150mph. If you don't beleive this, try this next time you are driving. In 5th gear going 60mph, your tach should be reading 3000rpm. If you went up to 7500rpm in 5th, you would be doing around 150mph.

What you thought was your car running out of gear was either (a)you hitting the speed limiter, (b) your car hitting the drag barrier in that particular run, or (c) you were in 4th gear and held by the rev limiter.

The way the classic is geared, the car is capable of doing 153 MPH @ 7500 RPM in 5th gear. Of course drag would hamper that a good amount. Personally, I think it's possible for a stock SE-R to do 130-135 stock. I had mine up to 120 (119 in 4th, shifted into 5th and slowed down) when it was stock and if I had more nerve, I'm sure I could have hit 130 easily.
