bought my SER a month ago, great car. some quick tech questions since i havent bought the manual yet:
1. what grade power steering fluid do i use? dexron mercon III?
2. where is the fuel pump relay located? trying to change the fuel filter.
3. can i get a center arm rest for my model SER? maybe an aftermarket one?
4. where are the ABS sensors located? and where can i get a used one?
thanks for the help guys.

1. I use Redline Power Steering fluid. Can't remember what the manual recommends. The reservoir on the B13 has a tendency to seep/leak especially when driven hard at an autox or at the track. Replacing the reservoir with one from a B14 apparently solves this problem.
2. There is a little removable panel by your left knee. Remove it and there should be a diagram on it with where the fuel pump fuse is.
3. I believe you can get one from an NX2000 (perhaps even an NX1600). Call Courtesy Nissan at 800-527-1909 and ask for Brian.
4. I believe the ABS sensors are located on each of the four hubs. I don't think you can buy them individually from a dealer. I was quoted a price on the order of $800 for the whole system.

Don't bother, the ABS on Classic SE-R's sucks. I think it's a 2 channel system, and it's worthless. I disconnected it on my 91.

I just happened to have my (1994) owner's manual in the house tonight.
For power steering fluid, it specifies "Type DEXRON II or equivalent".

Trust me, most old abs systems are worthless. They won't help reduce wet braking distance. Remove the light from your speedo, pull the fuse, and go buy a set of panther plus' pads from carbotech. You'll be very happy.
