According to Crutchfield, 6 1/2" fit in the rear, but may require drilling new holes. 4 X 6" works best up front, according to them.

i fit my eclipse speakers in just fine. thier 6 1/2's. though i had to drill new holes though. its amazing how speakers that small can punch like a sub. i highly reccomend eclipse. i got a full system( woofer-less) for under 500. head and speakers all around
reallly nice sounding:D

YES! I fit 6 1/2s in the door. You will have to trim the plastic bracket though (to fit the 6 1/2 body) and do a little trimming on the inside of the door skin. I used JLs. It took me a few hours, but as long as the tweeter is not "sick" high then it should be pretty easy. I thought I would have to make custom brackets, but was happy to see that a sharp blade and some pre-thought worked in my favor.

I put 6 1/2 infiniti Kappas in the front doors using some MDF adaptors I made. It only took a few hours and it sounds great. I'm about to flush mount the tweets in the door panel but i dont know if I have the heart to take a circle saw to my NX's interior :(

No saw... NO SAW interior... I hear you on that. I had some custom cloth work done on the doors and had to take it back. Ended up buying new door skins because the chump managed to cut the vinyl in a few spots. It started to pull and separate. Bugger.

i have some 6.5" midbass drivers from cdt audio and they do not fit at all in the back. Im going to have to take apart the interior in the rear and make custom enclosure for them. The depth of the speakers isnt a problem its just flat out too big.
