I am absolutly furious with this whole situation.

I began communication with this user in this (http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=169604) thread. We then communicated through private messaging to negotiate a price. We agreed on the price of $350 shipped for an oem style hood going to a business address. This guy shipped the hood to me on 9/13 via FEDEX (tracking #045787942822244) I received the hood on 9/21 and the upper corners of the hood were broken off because the hood was poorly packaged. I declined the package and it was sent back to him, and received on 9/28. We discussed the issue and you said that it was insured and that you were going to take it up with FEDEX and ship me another hood but package it better this time. After a week of waiting the second hood was shipped via FEDEX (tracking #045787943355079) on 10/9. I received the second hood on 10/17 and this one was packaged better, but there was a crack in the middle of it. So once again I declined the package and it was sent back. That night I sent him a private message:

hey man,
The hood showed up again and it was cracked. It is on its way back now. I really would just like my money back at this point, since this has happened twice, I really don't want to keep messing around with this. Please just send me my money back via paypal. The address is aarondgirard@yahoo.com

on 10/24 I got the message:

i will as soon i get the hood

that is the laste message I received from him, and the FEDEX tracking number confirms that he did receive the second hood on 10/25. It is now 11/5 and I have still not heard from him. He is active on the forum pretty regularly and I know that he has read my messages. I just want my money back so I can get another hood.

I tried to open a paypal dispute since I paid through there, but it has been more than 45 days, therefore I can not open a dispute. I don't know what I am supposed to do, I mean, eating $350 is really hard to do as a college student...

anyone have any suggestions, or know this guy and can see what his deal is??? I know there are a lot of members who live out near him, and I know there is a couple of other people who have dealt with him. If anyone can help me at all I would really appreciate it.

still no word from karlos.... I can't believe I am out $350 and still don't have a hood...

people are getting ripped off alot it seems lately.

yes ive noticed this too... I try and buy things a lot from the forum... and look through her to make sure i stay clear of the bad ones.... and there has be an increase the past couple months in internet punk bitches.
