Ok, so I got my new set of locks for the trunk because my key wont open the old lock. After I put the lock on, I tried to close the trunk...It closed but wouldnt stay closed. Now the trunk doesnt latch. I'm pretty sure there is supposed to be a spring on the latch but i didnt see one around. Any one have any ideas on how I can close the trunk and keep it shut?

is the actual lock (the thing that actually hold the trunk closed) in the closed position? my friend closed it on me once when the trunk was open and it took me forever to figure out what the deal was
