I did a stupid thing and lent chris my engine stand, picker and chain. He was real desperate to do a big turbo build, and so I gave him an IOU ($150).

Long story short. He slowly stopped answering pm's emails and phone calls. Over a lousy buck fifty. Now I found out he turned around and sold the stuff to PwrdByUncleBens.

Sorry for the harshness before David, but I'm mad. It was poorly directed. Its been months now, and I just want people to know what the score is with this guy.

Just for reference this was the guy who I spent hours helping to strip, swap, and hang a bluebird kit on a pristine superblack 1993 SE-R that he quickly ruined and traded for a krusty 510. BTW I helped him go fetch the 510 too. All for nothing.

Hey 91, do you have his lift or not? Are you saying he could have had it back when he wanted it, or you would have paid him for it if he asked, but instead of contacting you directly, he went on the forum instead? Something doesn't add up here.

sounds like someone here is lying... One says hes been calling, the other says he hasent recieved any calls. Your right... somthing doesnt add up.

Just for the record Chris has my #, e-mail, and IM too. He knows I am all over this forum. Somehow he didn't know where to find me these past 4 months, though when he needed help with his SE-R he would not leave me alone.

I even reached out twice through pwredbyunclebens (David) to get him to pay me. I don't know if he actually spoke to Chris, but I imagine it came up. David bought the stand/lift, and pm'ed me about it. I asked David if Chris intended to use the money to pay me, and he refused to answer the question. That's when I posted this thread.

Not to be rude Ben but I certainly did ask him if he'd pay you and he DID say he had no problem with it. I did answer you, but I honestly didn't know what his plans were with the money. Don't put this on me.

Chris should pay you for what he bought, and thats the end of it. It's easy to send a paypal.

I even asked you if you didn't want me to buy the engine, and stand. Maybe if anything shame on me for buying the engine.
