I am wondering about these. I have been told JWT programed them but they are old units. Do any of you have these and if so can they be reprogramed like the new ones? Same cost to upgrade the programs as the new ones? The one I'm looking at buying just has basic programs. I'm assuming the pop program. How could one know what a ecu has on it if the seller is not 100% himself. Yes I know JWT could tell me but at what price? Is there any other way? (he bought the car and did not know it had a Stillen ecu in it until last month when he swapped it out.
I need some input from all you Stillen ecu owners please.
Thanks a lot,

The only information I could provide you with is that new STILLEN ECU's aren't programmed by JWT. That is according to a STILLEN salesman I talked to. He said that they have their own engineers who do the programming. I don't know if he was full of shit or not.

That's my feeling too.

I guess it would be true that their ECUs aren't programmed by JWT. All they'd need to do is send one ECU there, see what JWT did to the ECU and they can have their own "engineers" do the rest. I have a friend that does that to Honda ECUs. Its not as hard as people make it out to be. Stillen is overpriced, over hyped and a big scam in my mind. I wouldn't by an intake from them.

Isn't it funny when you order a "Stillen" part, and when you get it in the mail, the box says "Suspension Techniques", or "Cusco". I would NOT be surprised to see a JWT sticker on the back of the "Stillen" ecu.

Me neither. According to their catalog the ECU is not a "STILLEN" ECU. In their catalog it simply says "Upgraded Computer," rather then STILLEN Upgraded Computer. All the parts that are truly "theirs" say STILLEN in front of them in their catalog. The salesman I talked to was obviously full of shit. I'm really not suprised.

Thanks for all the responses guys. The gentlemen selling this unit says there is a Stillen sticker on the cover and the numbers don't match with stock ones or something like that. He said he would check into it. I asked him for all the info. to so I could confirm it as well.
Anybody here have/use a ecu from Stillen?

you'd be better off getting the JWT one IMO. OOOOOR, if you have the money and a little more time, get the JUN ECU, its $895 (I think) from what I've heard.
