I was about a minute away from home on the same road i drive on everyday, when today a deer runs out infront of me i slam on my brakes as i crash into it. i slide about 35-40 feet down the road (a hill). The deer went flying up into the air and onto the side of the road. Dead. my car slid down the road leaving deep black marks as the back of the car whipped out to the side. My car is pretty bad looking it was just towed to the shop. The pasanger side lightes and the hood and whole front of the car was crushed from the deer.... i miss my car already

If it makes you feel any better at least your still alive. Two friends of the family died as a result of a deer and a empty country road. Sorry to hear about your car.

Sorry to hear about your accident... :( I hit a deer with my 96 Teal Se-R and did almost 1800 dollars worth of parts damages... At least you weren't hurt; you can get your car put back together!!!!! :D

Oh man, that sucks really bad. I just read your other article and realized you are the same guy who "just got my car back yesterday." Thats kind of how my SE-R was. I bought it late December, hit someone in early January. A tourist who didn't know where they were going pulling out in front of me on the busiest road in orlando, and then slamming on the brakes. WTF. Anyway, I'm hoping for you that your car is cheap to fix, if repairable? Nah, I'm sure your car will be fine, like mine was! Have faith in the 200sx!

I feel for ya. I never hit a deer in the 200sx but did in my dads 2500 ton truck and it did some damage big time. You got full coverage?

Sorry to hear that man. The supra owners in Austin hit alot of "deers" too! The put all these mods on thier cars, push over 700 to the rear and try to punch it in the rain and change lanes! OH OH... a "deer"/wall meets them right after that.

yea, its good i got full coverage. i dont think this makes my insurance go up... i hope it dont. it just is hard without a car... i hate walking places.

Found out it will cost 3100 to fix the car. I have to pay the 500 deductable than they pay the rest.

Dude that sucks man. 3100 because of a dumb animal. If only there was a way to keep animals off of the road...not only because they &#$@ up our cars when we hit them, but because we need to keep the animals alive too. Ok my tree-hugging moment is over.
