I have an odd sound coming from my engine bay and to me it sounds like a bearing or something going out. I have a video of it that I will post at the end of this thread. It doesn't really go up and down with the RPM's which is odd and kind of throwing me off as to what it is, maybe you guys have an idea. Hopefully I posted this in the correct forum.

It isn't sluggish or anything either so I'm really lost as to what the noise is or where its coming from other then I know it's the left side of the engine.

sounds like a bearing of some kind. like in the ps pump or wp or something like that. i would check to make sure nothings dragging on the lines near the belts and stuff. pull the belts off and check each accessory to see if any have any play in them. if they do then your prolly gonna wanna look in tothat. worst case i would try and pull the v/c to see if that helps but it doens't seem like you'd need to go that far. good luck

Check your starter it could be stickin' after start....engine runnin' strong/not rpm related. It has to be somethin' that simple.....

Yeah it doesn't even go up with the RPM's someone mentioned the timing chain guide but to me that would get louder the faster the engine spins. It does however sound like it is coming from the left side of the engine, but you know how engines or sounds sometimes sound like they are coming from somewhere they are not.
