So I have been searching for an exhaust for my NX2000 as most of you already know. It seems that the B pipe fits the NX that is for a Classic also. The back muffler pipe has to be chopped though if one is using a Classic exhaust!?!? Am I correct? Well we know that the "100 NX GTI B13" is the same chassis as our NXs. So this link will take you to Remus Europe (http://www.remus.at/html/products.asp) and just follow the path... car...nissan...and it should be the 1st choice you see. Hit display. The part number is there. I will call CEC Wheels (www.cecwheels.com) to see if they can order it. Any input blokes?

Oh, here is the part #606091 0501

Remus is actually a good exhaust. Ask Zak Nelson. He had it before he went DET on his NX.

No input. I am curious? I wish there was a direct fit cat-back for the NX2000.

"Focus"... I hear you on that one. Looks like i'm going to try and find a Stainless 2.25" "B" pipe and bolt on the Remus if it fits. Otherwise i'll be hacking up an HKS system to make it fit.

I know that the courtesy b-pipe will fit on an NX2000. It's 2.5", mandrel bent, stainless steel, and is made for classics, but fits NX2000's. Anyone know anything about the NISMO axle-back section on www.nismoparts.com ? They list it as the "BORLA EXHAUST SYSTEM" but it seems like it may be decent. It better be for $264.00. Any input, anyone? I was planning whenever I get around to exhaust to get the courtesy b-pipe and that muffler section.

Ewwww, that is a little pricey. Well it fits, but it's only a little less then what I would be spending to get a custom Cat back. Hmmmmmm  I'm still checking on this Remus... Keep forgetting to call... :( I'll get back soon with the info.

UPDATE:

This is what I posted on the CEC site:

"I own a Nissan NX2000 which is supose to be the same as an 100 NX GTI B13 from overseas. I'm interested in a Remus exhaust part #606091 0501. Would I be able to order it and what would be the price? Thank you for your time and best to all.
I may have a few more people interested in this exhaust".

They replied:

"Remus part# 606091 0501 carries a MSRP of $375. It can be ordered from any of our dealers or from our retail showroom at (310) 203-3900".

Hmmmmm... $375.00 OUCH!!! I think that's for only the rear, so I'm going to call the # they listed, anyone interested should also, and find out if this price is set in stone.

Well, because this muffler is stupid exspensive, I think i'm going to buy the HKS Cat back and have the shop cut the pipe that is too long and reweld it. I'm getting it for $470 delivered. You blokes think that is a great price? I have not purchased it yet.

Hmmm my last SE-R had the HKS. The kid I sold it to totalled it and he lives close by. But even if I get it most of the shops only want to sell you there crap, they refuse to install other systems.

I don't remember what I paid. I got it from Stillin. It was around there if I remember right.

I think i can help you... ;)

I have a '100 NX GTI', and it's more than the same chassis, it's the same car as your. 100NX GTI is the european name for NX2000, and 100 NX 16S is the NX1600.

I have the Remus exhaust on my car. It work fine!

It would be nice if getting the Remus would be easy. I finally got in touch with some one with answers here in the states. He said it would take 8-10 weeks to get and the $375.00 does not include shipping. :( I just ordered a Cat back HKS, in my hands for $470. The shop, and I, will be cutting the rear pipe to fit. I will post an update on how it works out. I would still be interested in trying the Remus, but only if it could be had at a better price & availability. ;) "Goose"!?!?!? ;)

"Goose", what did you pay for your Remus and where would be a good place to purchase it from in your country? Thanks bloke for the great pics.

I've paid less than 300€ for the remus (about $300).

In france you can find Remus products in every car parts shops. In US you may contact Mulsanne Speed Parts CA, ( http://www.mulsanne.com/ ), they trade parts between France and USA...

Hi Goose nice looking car. Maybe you could hook us up with a retailer in France who could ship to us here in the states? Do you have any group buys going on in the 100nx forum? I am desperate for a catback for my NX2000. Cossie let me know how you make out with that HKS.

I paid for the HKS early this week and should be getting it soon. At least that's what they tell me. I will post what was involved and what the parts were like on is NX2000 forum when I finish it. I will be there every step of the way so I shant miss a thing. So far I have spent $470.00 for the exhaust delivered to the shop (that price includes the tax and shipping). I'll take the Remus though. :) I think it's just the rear section though.
