Well it's been two years with a turbo and emissions finally came around. As expected it did not pass. I'm running a T3/T4 with 50lb injectors, JWT ECU, no EGR, 3" cat.

Emissions in CT are done on a rolling dyno.

HC - passed with flying colors
CO - passed with flying colors
NO - failed with 1811 PPM with 1026 allowable

I know the lack of EGR isn't helping but I did have
a Primera DE pass the same testing without an EGR.

Could it be as simple as needing a new O2 sensor?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Matt

NOx is raw gas. Its because of a couple of things like the cat, advanced timing? and no warming up of the car I think. You could just find another NX2000 and put your plates on it to pass. Thats what I did or try 3 bottles of drygas on 1/4 of a tank since it leans out the whole tank but not recommended since your turbo.

Try driving your car on the highway, 90-100 mph for as long as you can. Warm it up real good. At work we had a delivery truck witha test pipe pass. We just drove the shit out of it for 30-40min., it passed. Also, get a new o2 sensor. Bosch makes nisssans o2 sensors, they are much cheaper and the same. Nissan just stamps theirs. Any parts store will have one.
