What are everyone's thoughts on this? I figure while i'm busy spending 500 beans at Courtesy tomorrow, I may as well get some new tranny fluid too. 7.49 from courtesy, per quart.

I was also considering Motul or Redline fluids. I have no idea on any of this stuff though. Thanks!

My "tuner  " (AKA Jay Whitely) recommends Redline MT90 - you gotta make sure it's GL4 too.

I run Royal Purple in my own tranny! It works great. It is a little think, but I feel it is necessary to help cushion some of the stress on the gears. I have had no problems with it at all!

I have ran the royal purple, and I have run the redline mt90, I like my shockproof the best though.

I have used the Redline MT-90 but i have siwtched to Redline Lighweight Shock proof. It is prolly 2-3 times thicker which i think is fine. Its almost a paint consistancy, the color is light blue/turqoise. I have some friends who use heavy shock proof and its THICK it took forever to fill the tranny but it works well also . Not sure if there is any drivetrain loss due to the thickness of the shock proof oils but its better than breakage.

I like my heavy, and it did take a while to drain, probably close to 15-20 min.
