Hmmm I saw a bunch of Nathans runs and the best I saw was 300hp. I left for the last one so in less he pulled a 348 on a heat soaked engine and turbo I think the guy quoted the number wrong.

I think the dyno guy was wrong. Nathan only pulled low 300's. We do think the dyno was off though. We saw a s2000 dyno at only 180hp with a intake and exhaust. That is almost a 20% difference in what the normally dyno at. We saw the same thing with a friends sr20ve.

Based on a 20% loss, Nathan would be more like 360 and also it looked as though his timing was at about 13degrees, so bumping that up to 15 I'm sure would yeild him close to 400 on the right dyno.

i seen a 929 honda(that is a motor cycle for all you car nutts)on the dyno with a full mig pipe and it ran 126hp and stock is 125 so he is pretty close also a f3 was like 85hp and that very close to so i think the dyno was right on( s2000 are rear wheel drive and lose a lot of horses)

s2000's don't loose almsot 25%. stock dynos of s2000 all range in the 200 and above range. That car had a intake and exhaust. So in less those mods were making that car loose that much hp I still say that dyno was off.

I don't think a motorcycle is a good comparsison, how much drivetrain loss do they usually have? Plus when you are comparing numbers are comparing wheel to crank or wheel to wheel.

40 HP with 2* of timing... I usually see about 8-10 hp per degree of timing at the MOST.. Usually about 5hp per degree.

the bike was 150 from the factoy at the fly wheel and 123or so at the wheel and it ran 126 with a pipe .well any way u can't expect great number from a dyno that a redneck farmer towed there with his pickup truck and has a 286 ibm comp with fisher price grapghics, running it .I just wanted to know if there was a 348 hp nissan there *** i freken missed it:( mabee next year
