Ok, I am driving tonight and see that my brake and battery lights are on, my parking brake is all the way down, no idea what is going on. all I have hooked up is a system, but it was jsut so random seeing as my system was off for the past 2 hours beforei turned it on to see that. any suggestions?????

Ok, now is when you can go cheap.and get an Autozone/pep boys/Checker/etc...special..and replace it 6 times before wising up...ooooorrr
you can get a Nissan one, and be done with it for another 50,000 miles.
Trust me on this one....get a nissan one. I have done this sooo many times I can pull and reinstall the alternator in under 20 minutes!! I got one from Nissan, and no problemos since...knock knock

bro,
do not drive anywhere!!! Change the alternator ASAP and be done with it. If you keep driving it will kill your battery and you'll be stuck on the side of the road just like me!

Well this morning I got up bright and early , pulled out the altenator. I took it 2 Auto Zone and had it checked out they said it was fine (better safe than sorry) ....I have a new problem my power steering is leaking.. If cant really see where its leaking from if anyone had, or has this problem any info would be great , thanks alot guys

Too late, I got stranded and had to get the car towed, It was embarassing seeing all myf riedn tdrive by wondering what a nice car liek that was doing on the side of the road. Oh well, got it replaced and it wokrs great now, thanks for the help.

I would ahve followed your adivce given that was the only car i could use and had to drive to work the next day, seeing as alost most of hte replies came after the fact it died, thanks for the comment
