My money is on that they'll be the "Qualitee" rotors. Never ever ever seen any Brembos for any car for $25.

I have purchesed what I thought to be cheap Brembo rotors before. On the phone, they said "They are Brembo". When I got them, the box looked like a Brembo box, but it was called "Qualitee" rotors. Supposedly, they are somehow related to Brembo, but they are not actual Brembos. I was pissed. I should have taken them back, but I had to have them for a school that wekend.

If you get them, and they come in a box with the word "Brembo" on it, and "Brembo" stamped on the rotor, then I'll believe it.

matt,
what are your trying to say. does it matter or not if they are brembos. Ive seen you say that some type of rotors made in china worked really well for you and now you seemed miffed you didnt get authentic brembos once.

The Chinese rotors do work well for me....with NX brakes :)

People have told me that there's no difference between what we're told is a good quality rotor and a cheap, cheap rotor. I honestly don't know enough to know if that's true. What I do know is, I've never really seen a Brembo do this:http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=181692

But the "Qualitee" rotors I was sold 2 years ago as "Brembos" sure did.

But you're not going on track, so they'll most likely be absolutely just fantastic for you. Seriously. If I were you (on a budget, need rotors, not doing track schools) I'd be all over them. I'm just questioning whether or not they are actual "Brembos" because I've been burned like that before (ordering what I think was a Brembo and getting a Qualitee rotor.)

Kinda like the Hertz commercial: There's Brembo, and "not exactly"

On that one occasion, I bought what I thought was Brembos for $40 each (this was after my car club discount), so I really thought I was getting Brembos. Turned out they were "Qualitee" but the box looked almost identical to the Brembo box. That's what I was miffed about. I payed Brembo money and did not get Brembo rotors. Had I spent $25 each for them and been told they really weren't Brembos, I wouldn't have though twice.
