I just got my CAI, FINALY!
And I'm having trouble figuring out how the first pipe, from the intake manifold to the MAF, goes on.
I've seen the pictures of the HS, and the pipe looks a bit different.
Does any one have pics to help me out??
HELP!

K! Actually I'll try to describe it to you now so you can get a head start.

You should have two pipes. One short with two inlet nipples and one long bent to about 45 degrees.

The short pipe with two inlet connects to your throttle body then MAF then the long pipe and at the end is your filter.

Don't tighten everything just yet until you do some adjusting where your comfortable.

that's it!

ok..
well does the short pipe has one nipple on one side and two on the other, one really tiny one.

which one points toward the firewall?
how whould the curve be?
should it curve up, down, to the front, or towards the fire wall?

thanks for the help.

Sorry about that. I just went out to my car. Ok the two nipple should be towards the firewall leaving the other one (the bigger nipple) somewhat pointing straight up. When you take all your OEM intake housing there will be three hoses that will line up to each inlets.

You will have to buy a hose for the smallest inlet because the stock hose will not fit.

Other than that your golden. Just make sure you don't tighten everything untill you have everything fitted and size right.
