Hey help guys help me out. I just bought a t28 off the sr20det and I would like to know if that will bolt right up to my BB stock manifold. If not which manifold will i have to use and is there an adapter plate that I can use? and where could get that from.
Thanks for the input. I ask the guys at shops around my area and I get way too much conflicting information.

It will bolt up to the manifold, but then, that manifold will not bolt up to your block. The turbo will be in the way. Drop the $250 for a GTi-R manifold and be done with it. Best manifold for the money on a SR20, from what I hear.

Or...sell your BB manifold and apply that towards a GTi-R unit.

I think i will buy the GTI-r manifold to avoid any other weird ass clearance problems but then i will have to worry about my upper intercooler piping and also my intake pipe o well any ideas as if i will be able to use the old upper intercooler piping and myintake tube . Is there a huge difference between where the trubo will sit on the gti-r manifold vs. the bb manifold???

Let me just say this: I'm using a BB intake pipe (from MAF to turbo) on my GTi-R T28. Bolts right up. No difference.

The BB outlet pipe turns 90 degrees toward the passenger side. The T28 outlet pipe goes almost straight up. Cut it about 2/3 of the way up, and it will be almost like the BB pipe.

A BB outlet pipe will bolt right up to your T28. However, the flange is turned the wrong direction, and it will not line up at all. When it does line up right, the pipe hits runs into the manifold.
If you have somebody who can weld aluminum, you could cut the BB outlet pipe in half, turn it, then weld it back up so that it works.

I am going to try that this weekend before i go out to the track if not then I will have to definetly get the GTI_r manifold. But once i get that i will have to modify the down pipe and upper intercooler ppiping as well which will be such a heaadache. o well.

WHat do you think i should get for the BB manifold a basic price range on what u think the manifold is worth mint condition.
