I need a new EGR valve, control arm, and tube. Mech shop quoted me $735! Anyone have any comments? Too much, getting riped off?

think that is a touch much? so do i. tomorrow im going to get some prices from nissan parts dep and going to call the mech back and ask what their labor rate is. Hell for $735 for some dam egr crap, i could spend some more and just got DET. I think they are tying to rip me off. Anyone else no anything about this. Anyway to just take all the EGR stuff off, in FL we dont have to pass emission inspections.
