Hi all, has anyone come across a post or a website regarding the removal of ABS in a B14? I am debating whether this would be a good thing or not. The car is used for HPDE, autocross, drag racing and maybe 100 miles of street driving per year. Just cleaning up the underhood mess would make it worth the effort unless someone has had bad experiences with this. Thanks

If you can get the parts from the dealer it shouldn't be to hard to do. Me and Matt converted his b13 to non abs. All that was involved was getting a non abs master cylinder, non abs distribution block and non abs lines for the front left and right.

The lines coming from the rear bolted rite up to the distribution block.

Now the question is do they make a non abs b14 application you could get the parts for?

That is the question oh wise sensei ?!?

I think I would rather not have ABS, but it would be interesting to hear from others who have removed it. I have heard that it is a lot better without it on the B13, but there is little discussion on the B14.

I dont have ABS on my B15 and have never locked up the brakes unless i intentionally did it or heavy snow/ice conditions. I had 280 tread falken 451s on this summer and Never had an issue even on track with oem pads.

Just so you know I just checked my FAST system and they do make non abs parts for the b14. You will want to order parts for the 95-96 GA16 b14 5speed non abs model.

I can get the part number for you and post them up tomorrow if you want.
