All my cars have it. I wouldn't dream of doing track schools without it.

I have it in my ride. I don't know how well it works, but if it does have of what it is supposed to do, it's worth the small price you pay for it.

Got it. Purely for the thought of "better safer than sorry".

I started using it last summer when I was commuting 45 min. to work everyday in 95-100 degree weather and it did help keep my engine running cooler. probably about 15-20 degrees cooler.

sr20utah, really? do you have a water temp guage ? I'm not saying you're lying or anything. Personally I have only noticed that it takes my car longer to warm up, which I don't like... running your car 15-20 degree cooler is actually not that great... it increases engine wear and confuses sensors... although I'm not sure if it's still applies to turboed engines...

My MDM-100 says it works, so I say it works! If you live in the cold or cool weather, there's little need. Want to shed more heat? Get an NX2000 radiator or NISMO turbo unit, part #21410-63c00 (this mod only for hot areas or high HP engines). Most Nissan factory radiators are pretty good from the start.

I was auto-xing last weekend with a fellow SR20 buddy, and we both have water temp guages. I was at 190-200, he was at 170 the whole day. I'm doing pocono this weekend, and I am picking up some water wetter today!!!

I think its a bunch of crap for daily driving!!!!
I didnt notice a thing when I got it.
The temp gauge didnt do anything either.
Its a real small percentage on cooling.

If you read the bottle you will see the different gains with different mixtures. Water Wetter+ Coolant = not enough power!!!

It s good... i use is in my car and it does help keep the water temp from getting too high buy abottle man its only $8 wont hurt the engine

I went to myoilshop.com and bought 4 bottles of the MT-90, a bottle of the water wetter and a bottle of the fuel injector cleaning stuff---says it treats 100 gallons of gas!!!

So, how the heck do I get the fluid into my tranny box? I know how to drain it, but I am not sure how to fill it. Suggestions, please.

Thanks!

there is a bolt in the front of tranny that all you need is a rachet to loosen it and then a funnel *** the bendy thing on the end to get it in there. Ok? It looks like the back of a socket stuck in the tranny on the front. yeah that Mt90 shit is real nice i got that in the tranny right now and shifts are smooth as shit...

My Man,

A Haynes Manual will do you wonders. I realize you can ask here on the forum how to do things, but the manual will come in handy as you are doing the job as well. Its a $15 life saver.

Have alot of rags handy!!!!

In theory: You won't (shouldn't anyway) see any change on your gauge because the thermostat is still opening at the same temperature. However, once it goes all the way through your radiator, it *should* be cooler since it's transfering more heat out. This, again, in theory should lower your cylinder head temps and help reduce the potential of detonation on nice, hot summer days.

How many of you think coolant helps cool your engine? It does not. It's freeze protection only. The coolant actually hurts the water's ability to transfer heat away. What I do is put in just enough coolant to protect my engine down to the all-time record low in Durham NC, (-5 F). No need to go to -40 F, that's a complete waste. Ends up being about a 75/25 mix of water/coolant, not 50/50.

Also, go to the grocery store and buy distilled water. The stuff in tap water (minerals, etc.) will eventually clog your radiator.

Matt,

I went 50/50 on the mixture. Being in Florida I imagine thats an overkill. When you went 75/25, did you just use 1/4 of the coolant gallon? Or what method can I use to be sure I get 25% coolant in there?

why are you gonna ruin yer injectors? the pintle-less injectors don't react well to cleaners. i wouldn't use this stuff, just my $.02.
