There are a few other coilover options for the B13, but they are all "one-offs" and not in the same price range as the GC/AGX combo. There is the Truechoice coilovers, the Shock Tec, and the Motivational Engineering coilovers. You can learn more about these coilovers in "Mike Kojima's suspension tuning tips" write-up found by searching SE-R.net using key words "suspension tips."

The Truechoice and Shock Tec's are ridiculously priced, but are probably the 'ultimiate' setups. Personally, I just installed the Motivational Engineering coilovers and I love them. Although I have yet to autocross them, on ramps are a BLAST and I NEVER bottom out. The Motivational coilovers use shortened Koni struts which gives our suspensions a MUCH NEEDED extra inch of travel. So, if you are like me and want to ride in the weeds, but still have a functioning suspension that can take hard corners and bumps without bottoming out, then you'll want to go with the Motivationals. They are NOT cheap, but the additional suspension travel is, for me, worth the additional $600 over the GC/AGX setup. These coilovers go for $1600. In case you're wondering on what spring rates to run, I'm running 350/250 8" ERS springs. They can be harsh on the crappy city street here in Minnesota, but the additional stiffness keeps it flat in multiple corners. My friend has 300/200 on his 200SX, and the right feels "too nice", although his car still handles well.

I hope this has helped:D

IIRC, all those special ones (Truechoice, Shocktec, etc.) still use the same GC ERS springs. I believe he's talking about other systems like Aerospeed and Weapon R. Those cost ~$150 and perform like it. They suck compared to GC.

Oh yeah...those never even crossed my mind!!! LOL! This is what you get from hanging out in a forum with knowldegeable, smart car enthusiasts! I guess I need to be surrounded by more "ricers";)

You will probably enjoy the GC/AGX combo unless you like to ride hella low and live nearby crappy streets.
