Does it work for the VE? It's supposed to work for B15 Sentra

Mine had a custom made CAI, I took it off and made a SRI, and it seems to work better.

I *think* the N14 is the same or similar to the US B13 sentra*edit* (chassis wise) *edit*. So, being that you are putting in a VE engine (Lowport), you ideally want a CAI that obviously pipes up to a lowport TB in a B13 chassis. The nly car to have this combo is the 94 sentra se-r which is the oddball se-r. The US 94 SE-R is the only b13 with a lowport SR20 engine and since it was only one production year, its not the easiest to find. If you HAVE to have a CAI, that is porbably the only body type that may ensure a proper fit without modification. Most people have had the best results with WAI (warm air) in which case I think any Lowport SR20 WAI kit will probably fit.

The '94 SE-R is a low port, same as the B14 and VE.

WAI stands for warm air intake, pretty much just taking the rubber piping out from between the MAF and the TB and replacing it with a 3" stainless tubing bend or whatever you want. Its cheap, easy and seems to work very well on VE engines. If you still want a CAI, in australia you're probably better to try and source one for a p10 primera (sr20de not the 1.8) - I had one on my N14 sss and from memory it took hardly any modifications to fit on.

This thread has a fair few pics of intakes both cold and WAI.

Theres also a tonne of CAI related info in here, i haven't read through all of it but seeing as its an australian site there may be a bit of info on places to buy them that are a little bit more local than america.
