Okay, whenever it gets cold (under 32*), my idle is up about 1500. When it is warm it stays around 850.
Also, my fuel pressure is weird. I pull the hose off and set it to 59-60psi. When I plug the hose back in it is at like 50psi. Isn't it supposed to be about 54-ish psi?
My fuel pressure guage needle bounces around (moves like 5 psi and is spiratic). WTF?

what is your water temp when your idle goes up? If your T-stat is stuck open and water temps go to low, there is a possibility that the ECU is going into a warmup mode, like when you first start your car in the morning and it idles high for a while... just a thought. Just a thought.

Common mistake, your fuel pressure varies depending on boost and vaccum... let me guess your car idles at 12-14? If your vaccum at idle was around 20, then you would be seeing closer to 50psi for fuel pressure at idle.

your fuel pump is pumping... so it should bounce some.

I don't have a vacuum guage on it right now....
Where is the T-Stat at? Can it be cleaned or is it cheap to replace?

Do you not have a boost gauge that shows vaccum?
The T-stat is your thermostat, what is your water temp gauge showing when it start idling high?

After I have been driving? It's below freezing here so it takes a while to heat up. No the boost gauge does not have vacuum.
Where is the T-Stat?

oh boy. the t-stat is on the driver side front of engine block. follow the radiator hose on the driver side to the block. the t-stat is behind the nipple housing for the radiator hose. there are three 10mm bolts that hold the housing for to the block. when you go to the parts store do not buy a colder t-stat(160 or 170 degree) or your car will have poor fuel ecomomy and will never get into closed loop.

Lol I know what and where it is, I thought that was something else for some reason. What is the temp range supposed to be?

Okay water temp is at about 180-190 after being driven for a while.
Also, my fuel pump was used when I got it, and it makes a whining sound when running. Not like the priming sound, its alot louder and more high pitched.

the screen could be clogged or the wiring is done wrong

But the car runs good? You mean the screen that is on the pump itself?
Also, I should set the fuel pressure to 59psi at idle with the vacuum hose OFF right?
