I started my car yesterday and forgot to replug in the first oxygen sensor on my downpipe. I plugged it in and now the check engine wont turn off. I tried resetting the ecu by taknig off the positive connection off and letting it sit for like 2 hours. THe light is still on. Any suggestions.

The procedure for resetting the ecu is this:
on the back of the ecu is a little dial which you rotate with a flat head screw driver. Turn it all the way counter clockwise (and be careful not too turn it too far), this will set it up so you can read the error code (by the check engine light flashing). To reset the ecu, turn the dial back all the way clockwise and stay there for like 3 seconds. Go back all way counter clockwise, wait 3 secs, then go back clockwise and you're done.
