I trying to figure out what I'm going to need for my det install. I was wondering which gauges should I get(boost, oil, egt, etc)? And by who(autometer, vdo, greedy, etc)? What about BOV's, Which one is recommended for the det, or is it even necessary? What about turbo timers, which one should I get? Are they all basically the same? How about boost controolers? I've seen alot of good things about the Profec B? Which one do you guys recommend? Any and every bit of advice is helpful.

A recirc BOV is reccomended but I use a twin piston HKS one and it sounds awesome.

what gauges? well, what do you want? If you're not going to play with the boost at all, hell, you don't need any gauges at all. Just use the stock BOV (or in our case, bypass valve). Turbo timer? you don't need it; you can just drive around easily for 5 min. before wherever you get to and you can pretty much just shut off the car. Plus, since the DET is OEM (with water cooled turbo), they have to design the motor in mind that 99% of people won't take care of the car; so it's designed to be able to just shut off and not cause too many probs. Boost controllers... up to you, what do you want? simple or complex? If simple, the HKS EVC is a great way to go.
