Hey guys,

I just got back from picking up my NX from the shop. The guy put on all 4 of my UR pulleys, belts, new front main seal, and my HS Gen5 headers, with a new o2 sensor($240 labor). All I can really say is hell yes! My car feels great. I can really feel the header pull when it gets into the higher rpm's. It is making the infamous "mad cricket" sound at lower rpm's and WOT, but I don't think it sounds bad at all. I was expecting the noise anyway, since most people with HS headers have it.

The pulleys look great and make a mean whistling sound when i'm on the throttle. And is it just me, or is my A/C blowing a little harder and cooler now? It doesen't seem to affect idle or performance at all when I cut the A/C on. Awesome! I'll have to post pictures as soon as I can get access to a digital camera. Money well spent. Too bad he couldn't install my ES motor mounts. Will wait till next week for that. Now to put on my new plugs/cap/rotor/wires/pcv valve. All in all, these 2 mods were money well spent, and I can't wait to enjoy their benefits, day after day. I need to get a damned clutch so I can hit up dinwittie and get my 1/4 mi. time.

Congrats bro!!! Your motor is in awesome shape. A jdm motor would have been cool but why spend the money if your motor still runs and pulls!! I bet you are loving life!!! Enjoy it bro!! Now you have a nice car that defends itself!!!:D

It may be just you. Most have found decreased A/C performance when sitting at idle. I too have this syptom of the UR Pulleys. However, the great thing about the UR Pulleys is that when you kick in the A/C, it doesn't leach as much power from the engine.

Welcome to the mad cricket club. ;) I used to hate the noise, but now I love it for some odd reason.
