Well, first off i own a 97 se-r. I have ta "chattling/rattling" noise coming from the rear undercarriage of the car whenever i go over a bump, like something is loose. I ALSO have a squeaky/grinding nosie coming from the rear of the car. it seems to be coming from the left hand rear wheel/susp./brakes. I took both rear wheels off, the brakes are perfect, and the brake dust collectors aren't hitting anything. i couldnt find anything visual at all. oh, by the way, this only happens when i brake.
these noises are pissing my off!!!! nothing like haveing a nice car, rolling up to a stiop light and are embarassed to brake!!!

The rattling noice is probably your rear struts.
