Can someone please tell me how to identify a LSD on a S13. i heard that it is from the fins on the rear end and also from a orange sticker under or above the fuild fill hole?????? :confused:

Here are a few pics from the swap that I just finished:

The only external evidence is the orange sticker. This is a 300ZX R200V diff. The one that I picked up has a heat sink on the rear cover. I don't believe I've ever seen pictures of this cover before, but here it is.

The other evidence, is decoding the VIN...but that wouldn't be helpful on mine since I just swapped in the VLSD.

One last bit of proof, if you can get the rear tires off of the ground, try to spin one, while the car is in gear. You will have a very hard time trying to get it to turn.
