Issue has been handled I went and talked to one of the most knowlegable nissan parts dept people ever and we talked about old nissans and his rhd 97 silvia

I recently was having some trouble with my 69' roadster sr20de powered car, and I disconnected a inline I guess its a switch of sorts but anyway car runs great with it out horribly with it in. The car does not seem to be running rich and I have no clue if its in loop mode. I looked all through the service manuals I have on sr20de motors could not find much. Well anyway I decided to check codes now I get the error 21 code "ignition signal". I was going to go to nissan parts to ask them about the bit that plugs in. I am just wondering if any one knows if this is ok to run with out or if I am going to lock up the ecu or start running bad.
