Has anyone had trouble installing a walbro 225 fuel pump in their B13? I started the swap and realized that the walbro is much smaller than the OEM pump,it doesnt fit very tightly in the plastic pump housing,it just lays in it.Will it still work this way.And I had no clue that I would have to splice the plug wires!

Yea it did but the pump is just MUCH smaller than the OEM.At further review,I realized they sent me a pump for a B14 not a B13.The B13 is much bigger than a B14.But now I broke the small tab that the clip slides on that holds the filter to it.So if anyone thinks they can fix it,and needs a walbro 225 pump for a B14,its yours for $40 shipped.

yes the pump is much smaller than a oem pump, hence the foam cozie which takes up the space and holds the pump steady in the plastic casing

and about this clip that holds the thing to it.... can you clear that up a little?

The pump has the foam on it,but it is still WAY to small it just flops around in the housing. And there is a little plastic pin that sticks up for you to slide a very small locking washer down over it to hold the filter to the bottom of the pump, and I broke it.Basically it wont work for a B13 it fits a B14.
