: GregV's dyno videos
GregV 12-18-2006, 11:10 AM I took these with my camera and i don't think it does the sound justice. You can barely hear the cams switch. Next time I'll bring the camcorder.
Dyno with Kelford cams, Fuji header and full 3" exhaust w/ no cat (2.0mb WMV) (http://www.gspec.com/dyno/dynoKF_Fuji3.wmv)
Idle with Kelford cams and 4-1 w/megaphone open (sounded nasty) (1.0mb WMV) (http://www.gspec.com/dyno/kfidle41.wmv)
Dyno with kelford cams and 4-1 w/megaphone open (1.3mb WMV) (http://www.gspec.com/dyno/dynoKF_41.wmv)

What a tease! Where are the graphs for the last dyno?
SE-Rican 12-18-2006, 12:18 PM Are you going to post gains?
Also what 4 to 1 header are you using?
Car sounded good.

I'm pretty sure it is Chuck's design.
SE-Rican 12-18-2006, 12:20 PM I'm pretty sure it is Chuck's design.
Thats what I was thinking. Now that I remember Chuck did tell me that Greg would have one.
I am very curious to see what the gains and final #'s were.
XxToKeSxX 12-18-2006, 12:28 PM are those 4th gear pulls :eek2: holy shit
civicdragon 12-18-2006, 12:31 PM doesnt look like it... the dyno stops at a little under 100mph prob third gear
Digitek 12-18-2006, 12:33 PM are those 4th gear pulls :eek2: holy sh*t
I believe these are 3rd gear pulls....from the MPH...
SucKit 12-18-2006, 12:45 PM The first video posted a 194.9 at the end but not sure if thats power or trq.

thats power OBVIOUSLY....with 194 on tq that car would be a BEAST with 300whp
GregV 12-18-2006, 12:50 PM What a tease! Where are the graphs for the last dyno?
they're coming
GregV 12-18-2006, 12:53 PM The header is Chucks, the cams are Kelfords. It was 3rd gear. Charles will be posting up the write up w/dyno charts.
civicdragon 12-18-2006, 01:07 PM you got a MSD digital 6 in there?

GregV 12-18-2006, 01:36 PM you got a MSD digital 6 in there?
Why? 'cause the engine runs out @ 8200? No, that's just what it was doing.
XxToKeSxX 12-18-2006, 01:41 PM Hey Greg, is it better to run on the dyno in 3rd gear? I'm going again this week to get Mustang Dyno'd... I did it in 4th? does it really matter that much? n/a?
GregV 12-18-2006, 01:56 PM some dyno operators don't want to much speed. But you should dyno in the closest to 1:1, which is 4th.
OnyxEros 12-18-2006, 01:59 PM what springs were you running?
eric96ser 12-18-2006, 02:37 PM I've dynoed in 3rd and 4th, and there was a 1 - 2hp difference in power. Greg is right though, 4th gear at redline, is too fast for me on a dyno. One of the big problems B14 owners have, with stock ECUs, is you will hit the speedlimiter way before redline.
I like how the CEL comes on with the cams, but in some cars, there's no doubt when the cams switch. :) The car revs pretty quick for being in a DynaPak.
