i own 96' 200sx Se-r. i would loike to *** y'all opinions about me removig the catalytic. will it increase horse power? will it sound rice?

it's hard to get an sr20 to sound like rice

ill keep that in mind. I made up my mind. the catalytic is coming off.

Stock cat isn't very restrictive... 1-2whp gain if removed IIRC.

it sounds alright but depending on your muffler it may give it a raspy sound.

Like shit. If you still have the stock exhaust, leave the cat on.
