Check to see if the ECU is throwing error codes to you.

kinda vague. what year/model car do you have? there is a way to do the self diagnostic check, if you're up to the challenge. here's the procedure: ECU diagnostic (http://www.se-r.net/engine/ecu_codes.html).

my check engine light has been on since about 15 miles after i drove it off the lot. But that has been a year and 1/2 ago and my car is running fine also. I took it to Nissan and they said it was a speedometer head..i wasn't too sure aboutt hat so i took it to my mechanic and he said it was a false code and he turned the light off but it came back on. So id get it checke3d out to be safe....but hopefully its like mine, nothing at all. BTW i have a 95 200sx.

I got (7,5)witch is EVAP system. I need to check for small leaks.I think that there is a recall on that part. .
