As you may have noticed, I have to do the axles on my car. Should I replace the axle seals? I will assume yes. If so, does anyone have the part numbers that I need and the approximate costs? It's a manual tranny without ABS.
Thanks!

P.S. What is the addy to that site where there were instructions on how to do this work? I remember some guy in an INTEL t-shirt in his garage doing the work to a black car. Anyone know what I am talking about?

I wsh I had read this earlier. I have them both out and on the gragae floor. I am waiting on the new ones now before I move forward. Wanna ship them up to me in Ohio? Let me know ASAP as I am going to be ordering some today if not.
Thanks!

I think you should change the seals. They are like $7.00 at the dealer. While you are doing the axle swap you should just change them. It would suck to have take the axles back out to replace a little seal.

You can say that again, I know it all too well. I had an axle put in, but the seal was kinda busted up, and I didnt change it, a week later, my car was pissing tranny fluid all over the place, and I had to go through the trouble of pulling off the axle again just to change the seal
