Sometimes I go out to start my car and it takes a second to turn over. The battery is good for sure. Sometimes it takes a very long time to finally get the car to crank. Is there a way to disable the clutch safety switch? I know its a simple fix but I would like to disable it altogether.

Bump. I cannot get the car to start. Could it possibly be the starter ground? I need help on this.

If the starter engages, it's not the clutch switch. If you still want to disable it, just pull the switch off, and jumper it with a paper clip.
If you have cruise control, there will be a second switch on the bracket. Not sure which is which off the top of my head.

nevermind ^^ beat me. It's probably the starter since you said it was struggling like a dead battery.

Alright guys. I checked out the starter ground and it was good. I then check the relay and it was not the problem. Checked out all fuses and it seemed good. I then cut the wire to the clutch switch and wired the two together. The car then started up. I drove to my buddies and I went to start it and it took like 3 tries and then worked. I am pretty sure it is not the starter because it was replaced not too long ago(maybe a few months).
